teenage engineering EP–127 K.O.–PEDAL is a compact wireless foot controller designed for expressive, hands-free control of the EP–35 K.O.–AMP, compatible MIDI equipment and computer applications. Featuring two pressure-sensitive buttons, it provides control over guitar and microphone effects, looping, metronome functions and music playback on EP–35. • Control EP–35 guitar and microphone effects while keeping your hands on your instrument. Switch between the two channels and access additional parameters within the selected effect, making changes part of your performance.
• Use the pressure-sensitive buttons for more than simple switching. Depending on the selected effect, firm presses and rocking movements can change parameters such as modulation depth, delay feedback, filter frequency or vocal formant.
• Access the EP–35 looper to record phrases up to 20 seconds long and add overdubs. Build a guitar accompaniment, layer microphone parts or develop an arrangement during practice without reaching for the amplifier.
• Experiment with forward, reverse and half-speed loop playback on EP–35. These options turn a recorded phrase into a starting point for different textures, rhythmic ideas and improvised transitions.
• Set the tempo by foot in Metronome mode, start or stop the EP–35 metronome, and make tempo adjustments in 1 BPM steps. MIDI clock transmission while the metronome runs also supports synchronisation with connected equipment.
• Manage compatible music playback through EP–35, including play/pause, track navigation and volume control. This makes it easier to practise with backing tracks or move between songs during a performance.
• Connect to a compatible DAW, synthesizer or music app using USB-C MIDI, Bluetooth LE MIDI or the MIDI output. The controller’s modes provide effect-control CCs, momentary commands, clock, modulation and sustain functions for mapping to suitable destinations.
• Add an external expression pedal through the dedicated input to adjust the selected EP–35 channel’s volume, extending foot control beyond the two built-in buttons.
• Switch to HID state to send left arrow, right arrow, M and space-bar commands. Use these predefined keystrokes with compatible presentation, video or computer workflows that support the corresponding shortcuts.
• Choose battery-powered wireless operation for a portable setup or USB-C power for extended sessions. Its small footprint makes the controller easy to carry alongside an instrument, laptop or compact performance rig.
